Settings

In the settings you can define various settings for the page, such as the name of the website, integrated web fonts and much more. Many functions can only be viewed by admins in order to take away the problem of being able to disable your website by making the wrong settings.

Do you want to save a protocol of the activities of backend users? (0 = no, n > 0 = yes, saved for n days)

add_slashes_to_userinput
On some servers you need to escape slashes manuelly. Set this to yes to do so.

allow_cache
Should the browser cache be activated if allowed?

cms_first_install_time
The time when this wisy installation was installed.

cms_skin
Sets the color skin of the CMS, which is defined by the packet version.

cms_update_allowed
Defines if it semi-automatic updates of the CMS are possible or not for this installation

cms_version
Describes the installed CMS version.

content_is_visible_default_state
Defines if newly created, duplicated or pasted elements are at first visible (1) or invisible (0)

content_part_amount
Defines, how many content parts will be created for a website by default.

doctype
Define the doctype of this website. (-1 can be used to define your own Doctype in the template itself.)

element_not_in_use_info
With this option you can show an information which will tell you if an uploaded element (images, downloads, videos, etc.) is currently not in use.

fast_edit_nl_changer
At some server systems new line characters are handle differently and the FastEdit-Editor will not work as intended. Activate this option to solve that problem.

fe_cookie_stay_alive
Defines how many days a frontend cookie can stay alive.

force_gzip
If the server does not accept GZIP-htaccess comments, PHP can be used to parse HTML, CSS and JS-files using GZIP.

graphic_library
Defines which php graphic functions should be used to create for instance thumbnails. (Automatische Auswahl = 0, GDL/GhostScript = 1, ImageMagick = 2)

help_update_path
Defines, where the newest help-file is located.

html_cache_generation_time
Defines when the HTML cache has been generated. If the value is 0, it needs to be generated again because something changed. If it is not generated again, HTML caching will not be used.

install_mode
If activated, it will check if the database is installed and if not it will install it.

last_help_update_time
Defines, when the last help-file update has been installed.

licence_key
This key should be registered with 3We and should not be changed

link_session_mode
Should the Session be written after each link? If not, older InternetExplorer-Versions may loose the session, but this setting is better for SEO-Optimisation.

mailing_blacklist_mode
This value defines, if the blacklist entries should only be used for the current mailing group (0) or for all mailing groups (1).

mailing_max_send_count
This value defines, how many mails can be sent with this account. -1 = unlimited

mailing_send_steps
Defines, how many mails will be sent in one step..

mail_sender_smtp_server
If you insert an SMTP server here, wisy will try to send e-mails by smtp. This can slow down the sending and is less error proove, but it can result in better accept rates concerning spam systems. (leaving this empty will deactivate the use of SMTP sending)

mail_sender_smtp_server_password
If you are using a smtp server for sending mails, please specifiy password to login.

mail_sender_smtp_server_port
If you are using a smtp server for sending mails, please specifiy the port to communicate with it.

mail_sender_smtp_server_user
If you are using a smtp server for sending mails, please specifiy the username or e-mail-address to login.

main_content_part
Defines, which content part containts the main-content of the website.

main_navi_sign
Defines the the spacer-sign (z. B. "|") and the active-sign (z. B. ">>") of the main navi. (z. B. "|,>>")

max_hierachy_level_pages
How many hierachical levels should be createable by the user? This should be corresponding with the template-layout.

max_login_tries
Defines how often a user can mistype at login till the account is blocked for 30 minutes. (-1 deactivates the feature)

navi_split
Defines, if the navigation should be splitted into subnavi and mainnavi or if the mainnavi should use all of them

pass_salt
This is an automated salt-string. DO NOT CHANGE THIS! Otherwise you will not be able to login again!

preload_pages
The browser can be advised to load content of other subpages of the website while the user is idel on a page. This can result in higher download sizes for the visitor, which only are visiting a low amount of pages on a side, but it will increase the performance of the website. (= = deactivated, 1 = only for desktop users, 2 = for desktop and mobile user)

pwa_cache_files
Should the website be offered as Progressive Web App? This option will make the website available offline after the first access. 0 = Deactivates the function, 1 = Shows a dedicated offline page if the user tries to open it offline, 2 = Tries(!) to pre-cache the whole website.

redirect_to_sub
Should the user be redirected to the first sub page with content?

script_merging
Cached all function-data in a file and includes it instead of all the other files.

search_in_pdfs
Should the search include PDFs too? If yes, should only the used PDFs be searchable or all (0 = no, 1 = only used, 2 = all pdfs)

sec_img_height
Defines the height of the section images. Images with that hight will be chooseable in the page management area as page images.
