Manage front end users
The FrontEnd User Module allows you to manage access to protected areas on the website. In combination with the module "Manage pages" you can create protected areas on your website.
This function is available in the following packages:

Manage front end user groups
Name
What is the name of the person for whom the access was created? (Last name, first name)
Login name
The login name of the user. For example, you can enter the user’s e-mail address or your own name.
Password
The user’s password (as soon as a user defines a password, it is encrypted and cannot be viewed anymore).
Page access
Which pages are the users of the group allowed to access.

Name
Specify the name of the front end user group.
Comment
Add additional comments if neccessary.
Access to the following pages
Specify the pages to which the users of the group should have access. He automatically has access to all freely available pages, all pages that require a login can be selected via the checkbox next to it.
Grant access to new pages
Specify, if the users of the group should be allowed to access pages that are newly created without having to manually allow access via "Access to the following pages"
Delete front end user group
To delete the front end user group, confirm the prompt otherwise deny it.
Manage front end users
Name
What is the name of the person for whom the access was created? (Last name, first name)

Password

When did the user last log in.
Groups
Which group is the user assigned to.

Login name
Enter the login name of the FrontEnd user. This can be a pseudonym, the real name, the e-mail address or something similar.
Firstname
Specify the first name of the front end user.
Lastname
Specify the surname of the front end user.
Password
If the password has not been changed by the front end user himself, you can change and view it here, otherwise a checkbox will appear, which either keeps the password if activated or lets you define a new password.
E-mail
Enter the email address of the FrontEnd user.
Company / Organisation
Specify the company of the front end user.
Allowed to change passwort
Here you can allow the user to change his password. After the FrontEnd user has set his password, it can no longer be seen.
Ask for password change at next login
If you set this option to Yes, the user will be prompted (and forced) to change his password the next time he logs in.
Automatic login at Special Elements
If this FE user logs in s/he will be logged in automatically into forums, chats or other elements with login functionality. For that a new user for that service is created and connected to this FE user. Subusers will have the same name and password as the FE user.
Groups
Specify which front end user groups the user is supposed to be assigned to. Front end groups handle access etc.
