Manage XML sitemap (depricated, is now down automatically)

With this module you can create a sitemap for your website that is used by Google, for example, to find pages that are not or less search engine friendly linked on the page.

Especially with DropDown navigations you should create a sitemap, but it does also work with other sites. Normally this is included in the creation of your website. The sitemap updates itself once it has been created automatically when you make changes in the Manage Pages module.

This function is available in the following packages:

wisy base

wisy advanced

wisy pro

wisy expert

Insert priority of single pages
The priorities of a page can be used to highlight the importance of a page. However, these definitions must then be entered manually in the XML file. They can only be created structurally using this function.

Inserting Change Frequency Single Pages
The frequency of change of a page can be specified to instruct search engines to check a website for changes in this cycle. This is only a recommendation for the search engine and does not need to be followed.

In most cases, this definition is not necessary and can therefore be set to "No", since Google is highly likely to determine this definition itself anyway.

Insert last page modification
The last changes of a page can be specified to help search engines determine the factor of change frequency themselves. In some cases, you can even specify when the change was made in search engines.

In most cases, this definition is not necessary and can therefore be set to "No", as Google is highly likely to determine this definition itself. Especially with older pages it might even have ranking disadvantages to specify them.

Delete Sitemap file
If a Sitemap file exists, you can delete it here and thus also deactivate the update of the file. Caution, this will irrevocably delete manual changes made to the file!

Create
Use this to create a Sitemap file if it does not already exist or overwrite the existing one.
