Product search
The product search offers possibilities to search for products that have been maintained in the module "Manage Products" in the adminarea on the website. The search can be adjusted dynamically by setting the respective product attributes.
Settings
The settings of this element also depend on the product attribute setting that you have specified in the Adminarea in the module "Manage Products > Manage Product Attributes". Searchable attributes can be defined there.
Product categories
Define here which products should be searched in which product categories.
Search start mode
Here you define whether the selection criteria are all selected or deselected at the beginning.
Short description length
Specify how many letters you want the abbreviated description displayed in search results to be.
Result display page
In order to display results, your website needs at least one page on which the special element "product catalogue" displays the products that are being searched for. Enter this page here, or let the algorithm try to determine this page itself.
Advanced Option
Own search field sequence (pa_search_custom_order)
To define the order of the search fields for this special element and not to use the order of the attributes, you can store the ID of the product attribute comma-separated here.
